From the awe-inspiring cathedrals of Italy to the high veld of South Africa, New Choir takes you on a tour around the world with Christmas music from across the globe.

The concert begins with Renaissance motets by Victoria (Spain) and J.P. Sweelinck (Netherlands), followed by William Byrd’s Mass (England). The first half of the program ends with beautiful anthems by Grieg (Norway) and Rachmaninoff (Russia), two acclaimed composers from the post-Romantic period. The second half of the program features contemporary Christmas carols sung in ten different languages, including Latvian, Chinese, and Spanish.
